Voice of Insaf Desk:
Numerous ardent fans of the late actor Salman Shah gathered at the National Press Club to demand a quick and thorough investigation into his terrible death. On Saturday afternoon, the protesters came from all across the country and filled the area with signs, posters, and pictures of the actor. They chanted strong slogans like “We demand justice for Salman Shah’s murder” and “Our brother rests in the grave—why is the killer still free?”
At the event, many held pictures, signs, and even dressed up as Salman Shah. This showed how dedicated his fans are to getting justice for him. The calm rally showed how much fans care about the actor and how strongly they want a fair and thorough investigation into the circumstances of his death.

Supporters of Salman Shah said again that his death had been officially ruled a suicide for many years. But recent legal events have caused the issue to be looked at again. Fans organized the rally to demand answers and responsibility, even if the case’s new designation as murder has given them fresh hope.
People who spoke at the protest were angry about how slowly the inquiry was going. One speaker said, “It has been ten days since the case was reopened, but no real progress has been made.” “Samira Haque, Salman Shah’s ex-wife, and actor Don are the main suspects, but they have not been caught yet, even though the charges are very serious.”
The protesters also gave a serious warning: if the authorities didn’t act right away, they would step up their efforts. “We will step up our efforts with nationwide protests and are even willing to go on hunger strikes if the suspects are not arrested and the judicial process does not move forward quickly,” they said. They also said, this peaceful demonstration is a call for the immediate arrest of the accused.” We ask the authorities to do a fair and open investigation and make sure that justice is done. No one, no matter how powerful, should be able to avoid being held accountable.

The court officially changed the case to murder on October 20 and put the Ramna Police in charge of the investigation. However, even though a court ruling says the suspects can’t leave the country, no one has been arrested.
On September 6, 1996, one of Bangladesh’s most famous movie stars, Salman Shah, died in a strange way. The case has been resurrected after almost 29 years. Samira Haque, Salman Shah’s ex-wife, actor Don, and numerous others have been charged with murder. Fans still hold out hope that the truth will come out and justice will be done, even as new evidence and testimonials keep coming to light.
